Commercial and industrial
Our recent installation projects at airport terminals have included welfare and office accommodation at Heathrow T5 and Gatwick, and the arrivals hall at Bournemouth. Experience in the mobile phone industry includes wiring communications networks for Orange and Vodafone. Rail industry projects include London Underground office and welfare buildings, and the wiring of railside hubs for Network Rail by operatives trained in personal track safety. We’ve also carried out many other commercial and industrial jobs for leading names such as Proctor and Gamble, Pfizer, Aardman Animation and Veolia.
Education
We’re familiar with the peak demands for education buildings over summer holidays and half term periods – and the flexibility of our workforce means we can provide the rapid response that’s needed to meet these challenging deadlines. Recent projects include Sure Start and other nurseries, primary schools and high schools – including the wiring of two complete high schools in two separate eight week periods ready for the new school term. At Bethany school in Cranbrook, Kent, we recently completed a design and build L2A compliant installation for a major new science block.
Health care
Our wide experience in health care installations includes walk-in centres, GP surgeries, hospitals, nurse call systems, specialist trunking systems combining utilities, and specialist lighting. While most projects are new build, we’re also used to working around the public to minimise any disruption. Recent projects include a design and build installation for a new orthopaedic unit at Gobowen hospital in Shropshire, and an installation involving fire alarm and data systems for a modular health centre in Bloxwich. This centre included a walk-in reception, surgery for 18 doctors, dental facilities and office space.
Public sector
Fully familiar with the demands and requirements of the public sector, we’re able to work within tight security parameters. Recent projects have included work for local authorities, MOD, police custody suites, small prison blocks, RAF and army military bases, and the fire service. One typical project was a full design and build installation for a new welfare and office block for the Devon fire and rescue service in Exeter.
Leisure
Our M&E team brings a wealth of M&E contractor experience in both traditional construction and off-site modular buildings. This experience includes full responsibility for managing all aspects of the construction of prestigious hotels in Dublin, Manchester, Luton and Sheffield – all between 120 and 200 bedrooms.
Residential Housing
We understand the need for working quickly, clean, tidily and efficiently, with minimum disruption. Our experience on a variety of housing projects ranges from rewiring semi-detached houses to apartment blocks and large prestigious houses. We’re also NICEIC part P registered for domestic installations.
